Terms and conditions

The rules of the service we provide and of the relationship between you, Cartagenascapes and the operators.

What we do

Cartagenascapes sells one-day maritime experiences in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. The experiences are delivered by each tour operator, who runs the vessel and the beach club.

Every plan in the catalogue names the operator delivering it.

The booking

A booking exists when a seat is assigned to your name for a specific date and experience. Some plans confirm instantly; others are subject to the operator’s confirmation, and this is stated before you book.

Prices are in Colombian pesos (COP) and cover only what the plan’s "What’s included" section lists.

Payments

Payments are processed through Bold, the payment gateway, by card or PSE. Cartagenascapes does not capture, process or store your card details.

Boarding and ID

Presenting photo ID is mandatory to board: the maritime authority requires it. Without ID boarding is not allowed and the experience counts as delivered.

The schedule and the meeting point are set by each operator and stated on the plan page.

Sea conditions

Every departure is subject to authorisation from the Colombian maritime authority (DIMAR). No vessel sails without it. What happens in that case is covered by the cancellation policy.

Liability

The operator of each experience is responsible for delivering the service, the vessel, the crew and the facilities. Cartagenascapes is responsible for handling your booking and your payment.

Personal data

We process your data under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012. We use your name, email and contact number to manage your booking and to contact you about it. To measure how the site is used we also employ analytics cookies, described in the section below.

You may ask us at any time to access, update or delete your data by writing to info@cartagenascapes.com.

Cookies and analytics

No measurement cookie is installed when you enter the site. You will see a notice asking whether you accept; until you answer, nothing is activated. If you decline, you can browse and book completely as normal.

If you accept, we use two tools. Google Analytics 4, which tells us how many people visit the site, from which country and device, which pages they go through and where they came from; with Google signals enabled, it also provides aggregated demographic data (age ranges, gender and interests). And Microsoft Clarity, which anonymously records how each page is used — how far you scroll, where you click — to spot which part of the site confuses or gets in the way.

Neither of them lets us identify you by name, and we do not sell or transfer that information to third parties other than the providers named. Google and Microsoft act as data processors and apply their own privacy policies.

You can change your mind at any time: clear the site data in your browser and the notice will appear again so you can choose afresh. Your decision is stored only on your device.
